Marjorie Ann Dobberfuhl “Marge” Of Mequon, passed away on July 6, 2018, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Richard Dobberfuhl. Loving mother of Tom (Ann), Peter (Sandy), Steven and the late David Dobberfuhl. Proud grandma to Mellissa (Jim) Tillitson, Christopher, Aaron, Tim (Amy) Dobberfuhl, Kristi (Brian) Penley, Bradley, Melissa, and Eric (Hannah) Dobberfuhl. Great grandma to Talan, Chloe, Blake, Elizabeth, Samuel, Isabella, and Sophia. Dear sister to Lois (Lowell) Fink. Marjorie is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marjorie was born on June 20, 1930, in Milwaukee, WI to Walter and Tillie (nee Erickson) Blake. Marge attended and graduated from Milwaukee Teachers College (UWM). She would then teach for several years in Milwaukee and 2 years in Long Beach, California. Marjorie married Richard Dobberfuhl on October 10, 1954 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Marge moved to Mequon, WI where they began their life together. They were blessed with 4 sons. They were members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistadt where Marge taught art and language for 35+ years. She continued to be active reading to the young children at school up until the last 2 years of her life. Marjorie is loved and survived by many lifetime friends and family, and will be missed greatly. A Funeral Service for Marge will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (10729 W. Freistadt Rd., Mequon) at 11:00 AM. A public visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:45 AM. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Memorials to the church are greatly appreciated.
