Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Grafton Mueller Funeral Home, 979 N. Green Bay Road at 6:00pm for longtime resident of Grafton, Marjorie L. Schmitt who passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at the age of 80 years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00pm to 5:45pm. Committal Services will be Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Cemetery in Grafton. Memorials to the charity of your choice are appreciated. For online condolences please visit www.muellerfuneralhome.com. Marjorie was born Thursday, December 2, 1937 in Port Washington, WI, the daughter of the late Vivian and Beatrice (nee Marin) Dayton. She was united in marriage to Clarence A. “Snuffy” Schmitt on July 30, 1960 and their marriage was blessed with 2 sons. Marjorie was a stay at home mom where she enjoyed, cooking, baking and cleaning. She liked watching Clarence take care of her flowers. Marjorie was in a couple of assisted living places and if anyone needed to know information about things going on, Marjorie was the gal to talk to, somehow she seemed to know everything about everything happening. When her grandkids were school age they went by grandmas almost every day which she liked. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Clarence (Tammy) and Paul (Michelle) Schmitt. grandchildren , Justin (Jennifer) and Ryan Schmitt, and Ashley Maihofer. Further survived by her sister, Rosie Thomas, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence A. “Snuffy” Schmitt.
