Lowell K. Levy

Levy, Lowell K. of Cedarburg passed away peacefully, September 2, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Delores (Nee Hahm) Levy. Dear brother of Donald A.(Janet) Levy and proud Uncle of Lisa (Tom) Vogt, Kim Levy, Ben (Janice) Levy, Maryjean (Stephen) Loos, Deborah (John) McInerney, Nancy (Steven) Nelson and cherished grandnieces and grandnephews. Lowell grew up in Mequon Wisconsin and joined the Navy where he served his country in World War II. He then attended University of Wisconsin Law School and founded the Cedarburg law firm of Levy and Levy where he was joined by his brother Don. He served as the City of Cedarburg Attorney with distinction for over 30 years. He was the charter president of the Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary Club where he achieved perfect attendance for 50 years. He was an avid sportsman and conservationist and served as president of both the Safari Club International- Wisconsin Chapter and Cedarburg/Grafton Ducks Unlimited. He was also a longtime trustee on the Lasata Board of Directors and served the Cedarburg community in countless other ways. He was honored with a key to the City for his lifetime of service. Funeral service will be on Thursday, September 6, 2018 – 11:00 AM at congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun, 2020 W. Brown Deer Road, River Hills. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI. Family will receive friends on Thursday at the Cedarburg Cultural Center W62 N546 Washington Ave, Cedarburg, WI from 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM.
