Lorraine Lydia Wendt

Lorraine L. Wendt of Cedarburg, formerly of Mequon, went to her heavenly home on March 21, 2015 at the age of 86. Lorraine was born on October 11, 1928 in Freistadt, WI the daughter of the late Arthur and Meta (Nee Wetzel) Wendt. Lorraine was a lifelong member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Freistadt. Lorraine loved nature, bird watching, bowling, auto racing, stockcar racing at the Milwaukee Mile, traveling and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. Lorraine had a sharp mind and a great sense of humour. She loved babysitting her great nieces and great nephews and spending time with her loving family. Lorraine is survived by her nieces & nephews: Wayne (the late Pauline) Thierfelder, Eileen (Tom) Jungkuntz, Bob (Sue) Thierfelder, Ron Thierfelder and Judy Thierfelder; Great Nieces & Nephews: Jeff (Sharon) Thierfelder, Julie (Brian) Passig, Jenny (Jason) Enright, Jamie Thierfelder, Jodie Thierfelder, the late Jeff (Lori) Jahnke, Greg (Shawn) Jahnke, Mike (Renee) Jahnke, Todd Jungkuntz, Jason (Heather) Thierfelder, Ryan (Ashley) Thierfelder, Tyler Thierfelder, Amy Thierfelder, Emily (Lee) Kuhn, and Stephanie (Andrew)Shelp. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Lorraine was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Bernice & Hillard Thierfelder and nephew Jim Thierfelder. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 – 1:00 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church 10729 W. Freistadt Rd. Mequon. Interment Church Cemetery. Visitation in the church sanctuary Thursday 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM. Memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated.
