Lisa M. Schlough

Lisa Marie Schlough (nee Going), age 64 of Port Washington, died surrounded by her son, mom, sisters and friends following a battle with liver disease. Lisa was born on October 27, 1955 to Norbert and Muriel Going. Following her childhood in Cedarburg, Wisconsin moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she had her only child Jason Nenning. She was a hard working mom taking jobs waitressing. She moved to Colorado Springs where she had a successful antiquities business. She also own a catering business for large arena events. She moved back to Wisconsin to be near family. Lisa loved first and foremost her son and grandchildren and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. Her lifelong hobbies included playing her cello, shooting pool, searching out beautiful antiques, crafting, long hours of playing cards with family and her cats Bandit and Ivory. She is survived by her son Jason (Carrie) Nenning of Fredonia; mother Muriel Going of Cedarburg; sisters, Becky (Richard) Behrens of Cedarburg; Cindy (Pete) Petric of CO, Teresa (Devin) Hafemeister of Cedarburg; Caralee (Jerry) Jacque of Fredonia; Melissa (Kurt) Gierach of Mequon; grandchildren, Kenneth, Jacob, and Madilynn Nenning and Steven Michael Halterman; nephews, Shawn Rogers, Shane and Chris DeFendi, Brandon and Austin Thelen and Taylor Hafemeister. She was preceded in death by her father Norbert Going. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 21, 1:00 PM at First Immanuel Lutheran Church (W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd)., Cedarburg. Interment Graceland Cemetery (6401 B. 43rd St.), Milwaukee, WI. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday preceding the service from 11:00 – 1:00 PM. Memorials to the family are appreciated.
