Lisa D. Schilling Born to Eternal Life on June 20, 2022, at the age of 58, at her home, in Port Washington, Wisconsin. A Celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at the Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, (979 N. Green Bay Rd.), Grafton, on Friday June 24, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Lisa was born on May 4, 1964, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Kenneth E. Schillig and Lois Schilling (nee Wegner). As a child, she excelled at music by singing and later playing the violin with the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. She graduated from Cedarburg High School, class of 1982. Lisa lived in Milwaukee most of her life, but settled in Port Washington, to be closer to family. She adored her niece and nephew dearly, always interested in what they were doing in their lives. She enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers baseball, and going to scary movies. Lisa loved summer getaways to Lake Geneva, and swimming and shopping with family and friends. She had a taste for fashion, coordinating an outfit to match with the perfect accessories, which spilled over into decorating her living space with color and beauty. Her cat Talley was her fur baby that she loved to spoil and showered her with love. Lisa had an outgoing personality and a giving heart but suffered with bi-polar disorder and addiction for many years. Her friends at Maplecrest apartments were always kind and willing to lend her a helping hand whenever needed. Lisa is survived by her mother, Lois Schilling, sister, Kelly (Steve) Thompson, nephew, Kyler Kelenic, nieces, Kendra Kelenic, and her uncle Fredrick (Susan) Schilling. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth E. Schilling, grandfather, Erwin Schilling, and grandmother, Martha Schilling (nee Lewandowski). Memorials to the Family are appreciated.
