Linda S. Luckjohn

Linda Susan Luckjohn was called home on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the age of 67. Linda was a loving mother to two and grandmother to six, and her steadfast faithfulness was a beacon to everyone she met. She was born to Gustav Wegmann and Ruth (Wilde) Wegmann on March 15, 1953 in Port Washington. She earned an associate’s degree from Concordia Jr. College in 1973 in education. Linda worked in various capacities in her career, but her primary goal and passion was to provide loving care to people of all ages and abilities. Linda was united in marriage to Larry Luckjohn on March 29, 1975 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. Together they raised their sons, Erik and Ken. She enjoyed gardening, baking Christmas cookies with her grandchildren, singing in the church choir, and crafting unique items for her grandchildren. She was a fixture at the local libraries, and her most treasured moments were spent playing cards with her family and friends at the family’s homestead. On Sundays she attended her longtime church, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton, and relished any opportunity to attend and host Bible classes. Linda’s undeniable energy coupled with her faith, contagious optimism, and willingness to help others made a positive impact on all who knew her. Linda was preceded in death by her father Gustav, and her beloved aunt Hildegard Wegmann and uncle Ray Wegmann. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Larry; her sons Erik (Mary Clare), Ken (Melissa); grandchildren Aidan, Eli, Holden, Rebecca, Joshua, and Nora; her mother, Ruth; six brothers and two sisters, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church on 701 Washington St. Grafton, WI 53024 at 10:30 a.m. Private interment St. Paul Cemetery.
