She was the 6th out of 7. Kris graduated from Homestead High School and a graduate from Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. Kris was united in marriage to Daniel Wierzbinski on August 15, 1981 at St. James Catholic Church in Mequon. They were blessed with 3 children. She was employed at Pablocki Sign Company and was a supervisor at United Financial Services in Grafton for 21 years. It was an early age that Kris began showing her love for horses and baby animals. She once found a duckling, named it Donald and tried to hide it in her closet from her mom, her mom let her keep it until the fall of that year. Kris’s dream came true when she owned her own horse, Yankee. There were many animals after that but she got hooked on Angora goats. It was hard work that grew into a passion for spinning the yarn from the goats. Amazingly her zodiac sign is Capricorn, which is a goat. She had an incredible artistic talent shown in her many paintings and drawings. Kris and her sisters loved to go what they called “junking” and she would always find some cool things, especially her like for anything copper. Kris had strength and determination. She always seemed to know what she wanted to do and she would accomplish that goal and move on to the next. She was the bravest person that ever fought cancer. She did not let it stop her doing the things she loved. She traveled, she did her shows to sell her yarn to help support them and the animals, she worked in her flower garden, she put up fences and kept the barn going and this is just a few things she did. The last thing she was working on was the planning the remodeling of their kitchen. She was always kind and kept her sense of humor even when she was miserable. Kris turned out to be an amazing woman. She leaves behind to treasure her memory, Dan her husband, her best achievements, her children, Marie, Colleen and Mitchell, her mom, Janice, siblings, Kathleen (Kristofer) Hill, Deborah (David) Wierzbinski, Michael Simon. James (Chris) Simon and Colleen (Michael) Krizman, mother-in-law, Rose Wierzbinski, sister-in-law Jeannine Benkovic and brothers-in-law, Gary (Denise) Wierzbinski and Donald (Heidi) Wierzbinski. Kris is preceded in death by her father Lester, sister Mary and father-in-law Chester Wierzbinski. Kris is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
