A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday August 21, 2006 – 6:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg, for Katherine Marie “Toodie” Crabtree Nee Umnus, 79, of Cedarburg, who died on August 16, 2006 at Sarah Chudnow Hospice in Mequon, WI. Visitation will be at the Church on Monday August 21 from 3:30 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Parkinson’s Foundation or The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation appreciated. Online condolences may by sent by visiting www.muellerfuneralhome.com Katherine “Toodie” was born on March 8, 1927 in Edgar, WI the daughter of the late Kurt and Evelyn Nee Warosh Umnus. Katherine graduated in 1948 from St. Mary’s School of Nursing, Wausau, WI – Registered Nurse Diploma. Katherine had a long and fulfilling nursing career beginning at St. Luke’s Hospital, Milwaukee, WI. Katherine was Director of Nursing at Marina View Manor and retired in 1995 as a staff nurse from Bradford Terrace. Katherine was a current member of the Cedarburg Senior Center Book Club and a past member of St. Pius X Church Choir. She was an avid antique collector and loved displaying her collection at her shop “Evelyn’s” during the Edgar Steam Show, held annually on the farm where she was born and raised. Katherine is survived by her children: Gayle Crabtree-Pergoli Mark Pergoli of Mendota Heights, MN, Jean Pete Kobin of Cedarburg, WI, Paul Crabtree of Cedarburg, WI and Ellen Terry Eisch of Oshkosh, WI; Loving Nana of Andrew, Daniel and William Kobin. Siblings: Dorothy the late Al Biver of South Bend, IN, Fred Lois Umnus of Abbottsford, WI, Kurt Bev Umnus of Edgar, WI and Joyce David Proft of Edgar, WI. Our heart felt thanks to Katherine’s dear friend Jim Lehmkuhl and our cousin Jody Baeseman for their loving care and compassion.
