Johnnie IV was born on December 10th, 1988 in Minneapolis, MN. That’s right he was first a Vikings fan (shhhh…don’t tell anyone). He moved with his family to Wisconsin in 1993. He attended Cedarburg High School and graduated with the class of 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2013. He was engaged to his greatest passion and love in his life, Jessica Korrison. John and Jessica were to be wed on October 23, 2021. Through high school and college, John worked at the Ozaukee Country Club in Mequon for ten years as Assistant Bar Supervisor and every other position that was needed. His General Manager, Scott, described John as “one of the best employee’s he’d ever had. John was kind, hard-working, and fun. Truly a great kid who turned into a great man.” After college, John pursued his passion in marketing as a Marketing Manager for Advanced Foot & Ankle Podiatry of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. In 2020, he landed his dream job as an Account Manager for Powderkeg Website Design in Madison, WI. John was also an avid sports fan, he loved Wisconsin sports so much, he co-created a weekly podcast called “Armchair Analysts with Ace & Johnnie.” When he wasn’t working or podcasting, John spent time with his beautiful fiancée and with his many dear friends. His closest friend was Josh, a truly gifted doctor. Josh described John as “one of the most outgoing, welcoming, captivating, joking, loving, caring, Wisconsin sports-loving, Guinness-drinking, Metallica-screaming, hard-working persons that anyone ever encountered.” We love you “Joshua Michael.” John was such a great kid, supportive brother, loving fiancé, and loyal friend. He meant something to everyone he met, unless you were a Bears fan. He made a vast impact on all those he met with his boisterous affection, passion for life, and infectious personality. He gave his all in everything and brought out the best in everyone. If he loved, you he had a special nickname for you. He loved his Packers and referred to Lambeau Field as “hallowed ground.” The great Vince Lombardi said, “The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.” John used all his gifts and more to become the amazing man he was, but the gift he gave all of us is a lifetime of memories and laughs to share. John’s life was cut short after suffering from a heat stroke while hiking in Zion National Park in Utah. We can be comforted to know that he was in a beautiful place surrounded by friends. We love you John, and may God wrap his loving arms around you and I promise we will get you that Lombardi trophy this year. We hear you cheering “Go Pack Go” from the gates of heaven and his cheers are even louder for Jessica & Briana. Parents, hug your kids every day. John was survived by his best friend and devoted fiancée Jessica Lee Korrison. His loving parents John (Jay) and Lori Wolfe and his dear sister Briana (Bri) Wolfe. He was further survived by his loving aunts and uncles; Barbara (Rudolfo) Zea, Jeffrey Wolfe, Greg (Bonnie) Wolfe, Laura (Marc) Wolfe Krushinski and Dennis (Patrisha) Wolfe. Further survived by his cousins; Carrie (Marc) Santiago, Michael and Liz Wolfe, Nicole McGill, Tammy (Matt) Preble, Shannon (Matt) Cerbas, Brittany and Michael Wolfe, Stacy Wolfe Parisher as well as John’s many friend and trusted feline Phoebe. John was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lucille McGrane and John Wolfe Jr. and his maternal grandparents Jack and Dorothy McDougall, his infant aunt Ramona McDougall and uncle Michael McDougall and cousin Jamie Wolfe, as well as his adoring and faithful pets; Miss Kitty and Bear.
