Jennifer J. Marquardt

Jennifer Jean Marquardt was a devoted and loving wife, caring mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world far too soon on February 1st, 2022 at the age of 51 surrounded with incredible love. She fought long and hard with leukemia and countless illnesses surrounding it and is now released from suffering to do the things she loves without the confines of her earthly body. A celebration of her life will take place at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, WI on Monday, February 7th, with a visitation beginning at 4pm, and service beginning at 6pm. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Jenny was born to Tom and Barb Meno on June 15th, 1970. She attended high school in Cedarburg where she met her future husband Rob. They graduated together in 1988. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a degree in accounting and social work. She married her best friend and love of her life, Rob Marquardt, on May 23rd, 1992. Together, they had two children, Kally and Aimee. Jen was preceded in death by her daughter Aimee and they are finally reunited after 25 years. She was a fiercely kind hearted woman who always looked out for those around her. She had extreme empathy and understanding, and was never quick to speak or judge. She always had a way of bringing a smile to the faces of those around her, especially her close family. Jen always found the greatest pleasure in the simple and quiet things in life, such as boat rides with Rob on the lake, movie nights, and reading, or being read to on long car rides. She was also a stubborn and strong willed woman who was always pushing her limits of what she should be doing, especially when she was going through cancer treatments. She was determined to never let it slow her down. She had a love of creating and watching campfires, taking fast paced walks with Rob, and working in the garden until it was too dark to see. She was extremely competitive in family board games, and was always the one to beat - which was very rarely accomplished. Jen was an animal lover, especially dogs. They seemed to gravitate to her in all circumstances. She left behind three grandpups, Gracie, Max, and Ember. Jenny is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 29 years, Rob Marquardt, and loving daughter Kally. Parents Tom and Barb Meno. Sister Karen Willer and husband Jim Willer. Mother-in-law Diane Marquardt, Sister in law Sue Marquardt, Luanne Bartlein and husband Tracy Bartlein, Peggy Desorcy, JoAnn Pipkorn and husband John Pipkorn, along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by daughter Aimee Marquardt, grandmother Mildred Picha, and father in law Robert Marquardt Senior. Jenny was a pillar and rock in the lives of anyone close to her and will be greatly missed, treasured, and kept alive in memory for as long as we live.
