Jarrod Daniel Widmann, age 39, of Grafton, Wisconsin, went to heaven and entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 10th, surrounded by his wife. Born April 27, 1980, he was the son of Mark and Joan (Ellenberger) Widmann and graduated from Waukesha North High School. Jarrod was married to his loving wife of 17 years, Mary Katherine Widmann (Bates), and is survived by his three children; Emma, Benjamin and Abigail. Jarrod was brilliant and hardworking, graduating from UW-Milwaukee with a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, earned a Law Degree from Marquette University and was pursuing a MS in Engineering from UW-Madison at the time of his passing. Jarrod worked for Leonardo DRS Technologies for over ten years, designing power electronics for navel defense and he was the youngest person to hold the position of Vice President of Engineering. Jarrod and Mary met in college and they were committed soulmates. Besides, loving Mary, Jarrod enjoyed eating Mexican food, going for walks, looking at his back yard from the kitchen window, woodworking, gardening, and most importantly, spending all his spare time with his children. Cooking and making pancake breakfasts, attending concerts, watching race cars and other sporting events, playing video games, and ice skating were a few of the favorite activities he especially enjoyed doing with Emma, Ben and Abby. Jarrod was taken far too soon; goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, we’ll (Mary, Emma, Ben and Abby) miss you until we meet again. Jarrod won’t ever be forgotten, his life story, his legacy, HE will live on in the lives of his children every day. Jarrod was deeply cherished by his father and mother along with aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 - 12 Noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 1619 Washington St. Grafton. Family will receive friends at the church on Sat. from 10 AM - 11:45 AM In lieu of flowers, “Jarrod Widmann Memorial Fund” donations go to Landmark Credit union for Emma, Ben and Abby’s educational fund.
