Janet E. Beverung

Janet E. Beverung (nee Gruett) of Cedarburg, passed away at the Harrison Home on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the age of 93. Janet was born in Merrill, WI on February 21, 1921 the daughter of the late Walter and Marjorie (Nee Hubbard) Gruett. Janet was united in marriage on June 20, 1942 to the late Clyde “Bud” Beverung Sr.. Janet was a member of the Cedarburg Women’s Club, Founding member of Faith Lutheran Church and a member of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution. Janet’s favorite hobbies were Ballroom Dancing, Golfing and Traveling, but most importantly spending time with her loving family and many friends. Janet is survived by her children: Bud (Kay) Beverung Jr, Larry (Pamela) Beverung, Marji (Mark) Wittenberg, Bob (Lynne) Beverung and Penny (Joe) Francois; Grandchildren: Christopher (Stephanie) Beverung, Mellissa ( Alex) Seidel, Ryan (Lauren) Beverung, Meghan Beverung, Nick (Jenny) Wittenberg, Robyn (Mike) Baken, John (Jenny) Wittenberg, Molly (Nic) Herdrich, Jennifer (Erik) Fossum; Brady , Tyler, Alexandra & Kandace Francois; sisters Barb (Bill) Gooch and Pat (Jerry) Westlund. Janet is further survived by 12 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Janet was preceded in death by her brother Frank. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 15 – 1:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church N35 W6621 Wilson Ave. Cedarburg. Visitation at the church on Monday 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM. Entombment Immanuel Cemetery. Memorials to Faith Lutheran Church appreciated.
