James F. “Jim” Wrobbel

Of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024 at the age of 86. Jim was born in Milwaukee, WI on October 28, 1937 to the late Ferdinand and Rose (nee Fleck) Wrobbel. Jim graduated from Messmer High School in 1955 and later served in the United States Army. Jim was united in marriage to Joan Senger on June 1, 1963 and they were blessed with two sons. Together Jim and Joan owned and operated The Cedars for many years. Jim loved bowling, fishing, playing cards, running numerous pools and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events. Jim was inducted into the Ozaukee County Bowling Hall of Fame and was a member of the Cedarburg Fire Department.

Jim is survived by his wife Joan; Sons: Jeff Wrobbel and Jim (Chris) Wrobbel; grandchildren: Caitlin and Emily Wrobbel; one sister Ruth Ohnmacht; two sister-in-laws: Phyllis Wrobbel and Dolly Wrobbel; other relatives and many friends. Jim was preceded in death by his siblings: Joan, Jerry and Don.

Per Jim’s wishes, no formal services will be held. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
