James A. LeBoeuf Sr., of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at his residence, on February 14, 2018, at the age of 68 years. Jim was born on May 10, 1949, in Menominee, Michigan the son of the late Gordon LeBoeuf and the late Helen (nee Granquist) LeBoeuf. The LeBoeuf family then relocated to the Milwaukee area. Jim graduated from Custer High School and shortly thereafter he met Barbara Krauss and they were united in marriage on June 2, 1973, in Milwaukee. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Melissa, James Jr., and Michael. Jim was the owner and operator of Assured Builders for over 25 years, where he built homes, and worked as a fire and water damage specialist. He was a very active man, and was a co-founder of Rods-N-Relics, where the group met in his garage from time to time. Jim enjoyed cruising in his motor-home, spending time at his cabin which he built, in Argonne, WI, boating on the Milwaukee River, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, as well as working on the many projects his family and friends gave him. Jim was notorious for always saying, “everything has a life span” as well as “if I can’t fix it, it isn’t broke”. Jim was truly a jack of all trades. He loved spending time working on his vintage vehicles, including his blue 1972 Corvette, as well as learning Swedish and playing the piano. He will be truly missed by all of the lives that he touched throughout his lifetime. Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (nee Krauss), children: Melissa (Steffen), James (Sara) Jr. and Michael (Corinne) LeBoeuf; grandchildren: David, Lukas, Kyliee, Brody, and Rex; siblings, Geraldine (James) Peterson and Cynthia (Sam) Armeli, and brothers-in-law, Skip (Patti) Krauss and Fred Bohlmann. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and sister-in-law, Kathi Kassens. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2018, 1PM at the Mueller Funeral Home and Crematory, in Grafton. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, from 11AM until 12:45PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial to the family are appreciated. “Jag Alskar Dig”
