Irmgard Hoffmann Nee Lind

Irmgard Hoffmann (nee Lind), of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg on October 6, 2010, at the age of 76. Irmgard was born in Bendorf, Germany on February 7, 1934, a daughter of the late Alois and Helene Lind. She married Heinrich Hoffmann on February 14, 1953, and the couple moved to Cedarburg from Germany in 1959. Irmgard opened a gift shop inside the Cedarburg Cheesary in 1984, eventually taking over the Cheesary in 2002. Her daughter, Elke, took over in 2005. Irmgard is survived by her children Elke Hoffmann and Dean Hoffmann; her grandchildren Barry Hoffmann and Megan Hoffman; her sister Gertrude (the late Hans) Waibel; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Heinrich. Private services were held.
