Howard E. Timm

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church-Freistadt, 10729 W. Freistadt Road at 11:30am for Howard E. Timm who died on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the age of 93 years at Harbor Club in Port Washington surrounded by his family. Interment church cemetery. Visitation on Friday at the church from 10:30 to 11:15am. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the Wounded Warriors Project appreciated. Special thanks to Harbor Club and Vitas Hospice Staff from Howard’s family. Howard was born February 12, 1922, the son of the late Charles and Meta (nee Winter) Timm. He attended Boys Tech where he received a Tool & Die apprenticeship. He married Elvira E. Raduka and they were blessed with 2 children. Howard was in U.S. Army during WWII. While in the Army he was a POW and spent 5 months in a German workcamp before being liberated in May of 1945. Howard received a Purple Heart for his wounds received in action. He is a former member of the Mequon-Thiensville American Legion Post. Howard retired from Allen Bradley Corporation as a tool & die maker after 27 years of employment. Howard was a member of IAMAW-International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and golf. He loved the Badgers as well as the Packers. Some of Howard’s hobbies were stained glass and landscaping. Howard is survived by his wife; Elvira, sons; Allen (Rita) and Dale (Cathy), grandchildren; Brian (Amy), Kevin (Kim), Todd (Lana) and Erin (Jason) Raasch, great-grandchildren; Brennan, Lauren, Jack, Ava, Leia, Ethan, Parker and Emma Timm, brother; Charles Jr. (Joanne), and brother-in-law; Bob Siegman, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Meta, brother; Raymond (the late Anne) Timm, sister; Ruth (the late Ed) Schulz, sister; Evelyn Siegman and 1 great-grandchild; David Timm
