Gordon F. Staub

Gordon F. Staub Memorial Services will be held Monday January 3, 2011 at the Mueller Cedarburg Funeral Home, W63N527 Hanover Avenue at 4:00pm for Gordon F. Staub, who passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the age of 74 years, a long time resident of Cedarburg. Memorial gathering will be held on Monday from 3:00pm until the time of Services at the funeral home. Gordon was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 29, 1936, the son of the late Frederick and Pauline (nee Wallerick) Staub.Gordon owned Staub Hall in Milwaukee for many years, a bar business which he was very proud of. There are many things Gordon enjoyed such as owning and racing his horses and gambling. He loved the Stardust Hotel out in Las Vegas which he visited quite often. Gordon favorite game was Baccarat. For over 20 years he would meet up with a lot of friends from throughout the US at the Stardust Hotel during Superbowl weekend, which now his daughter will continue the tradition. Gordon was an avid soprts fan whether college or pro which included football, baseball and basketball. He is a former employee for the Milwaukee Journal. Gordon is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Jim) Hunt, sisters; Betty Smith and Pat (Jim) Bertrand, other relatives and friends. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the American Heart Association appreciated.
