Funeral services for Glenn W. Frank, of Cedarburg, who passed away peacefully at Horizon Hospice on April 25, 2011 at the age of 81 years, will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 7:00 PM at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd. Cedarburg. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 4:00 PM until time of service. Interment will take place at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Glenn was born in Cedarburg on May 28, 1929 the son of the late Walter and Elsie (nee Schneider) Frank. Glenn was united in marriage to Eunice (nee Jaeger) on June 30, 1951 at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Glenn was a member of the Mens Club at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, Vice President and Director of Wisconsin Public Power Inc., Cedarburg Fire Department and Ducks Unlimited. Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and attending his grandchildrens many events. Georgia Tech and Marquette University both offered Glenn scholarships to play football. Glenn chose Marquette to be closer to home. His love of football and position at Cedarburg Light & Water enabled him to be instrumental in acquiring lights for Friday Night Football. Following 44 years of utility service to Cedarburg Light & Water, Glenn Frank retired from his final role as manager in 1994. Under Franks leadership, the utility saw tremendous growth and maintained top level service to its customers. Moreover, his help in forming WPPI helped Cedarburg become a model for other Wisconsin municipalities. Glenn is survived by his wife Eunice (nee Jaeger); Children: Connie (Edward) Kison, Jeff (Julie) Frank, Jody (William) Buss and Jed (Sharon) Frank; Grandchildren: Kyle (Kristine) Kison, Andrew (fiance Niki) Kison, Kendall (Adam) Melichar, Audra Kison, Jordan (Hilary) Frank, Mallory Frank, Taylor Frank, Carly Frank, Sawyer Frank; Lucas, Nicholas and Evan Albrecht; Shannon, Jared and Heidi Buss; and Lindsey Frank; great grandchildren: Cory Kison, Carter Melichar and Emerson Frank; siblings: Audrey Zwickey, Bernice (Bud) Miser, Moncia ( Dick) Tillmann, Tom (the late Rosemarie) Frank. Further survived by sisters-in-law Ruth (the late Richard) Frank; Erna Stecker, Viola Maas, Ruthie Krueger, Darlene (Bob) Ladwig; brother-in-law Harry Viesselmann, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorials: Memorials to First Immanuel Guardian Angel Program, Cedarburg High School Football Program or American Lung Association appreciated.
