Schwanz, Gerald W. Of Mequon, Went to His Heavenly Home on February 10, 2012 – age 84 yrs. Loving brother of Armin F. (Mary). Loving uncle of Janet (Michael) Beder, JoAnne (David) Berth, Jerold (Cindy) Schwanz, Jay (Jody) Schwanz, Douglas (Jacklyn) Schwanz, Kathleen (Robert) Bentley, Susan (Robert) Stoecker and Glen (Kari) Beder. Further survived by great and great-great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gerald was preceded in death by his brother Erich H. (June) Schwanz and his sister Rosabel L. Schwanz. Gerald was born in Mequon, WI on February 3, 1928, the son of the late Erich C. and Marie (nee Schmeling) Schwanz. Gerald worked the family farm his entire life. Gerald enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, playing cards and spending time with his family. Funeral Service Tuesday, February 14 – 11:00 AM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church 11450 N. Wauwatosa Rd. Mequon. Interment Church Cemetery. Instate at the church Tuesday 9 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church West Mequon appreciated.
