Genevieve F. Griswold (1980 – 2023)

Our Dear Genevieve has passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Friday, December 29, 2023, in Port Washington, WI. She was born on July, 7, 1980, in Milwaukee, WI. Genevieve was the daughter of the late Simeon and the late Josephine (nee Furey) Griswold.

Genevieve loved listening to and reading everything about The Beatles. She loved Movies, baking, card games, computer games, word search and Monopoly. Genevieve enjoyed her time spent at Crossroads Presbyterian Church going to Youth Club and later being a volunteer at Youth Club. More recently Gen liked spending time with her friends at Cornerstone and participating in Day program.

Genevieve is survived by her brothers, Eric Griswold and Andrew (Sue) Griswold, sister, Megan (David) Simone, aunts & uncles, Douglas & Judith Furey, George Furey Jr. and Jack & Barbara Furey and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She has joined her mother, brother and father in the arms of the Lord. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

A family memorial service will take place at 11:00A.M., Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 6031 W Chapel Hill Rd., Mequon, WI. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital in memory of Genevieve Griswold.

The family would like to thank all the dedicated employees of Cornerstone-Port Washington, Wisconsin that provided their exceptional care to Genny, and the service of Memory Garden at Crossroads Presbyterian Church.
