Franklin H. Boesch passed away peacefully on Wed., Nov. 3, 2010 at his home in Grafton, WI at the age of 87. He died from a short battle of cancer. Frank would always say Its a Great Life. Frankie will be very much missed by family and loved ones. Franklin Boesch was born on Nov. 26, 1922, to Edgar and Mamme (nee Barth) in Thiensville. Frank was one of five brothers, Eddie, Elmer, Kenny and Clarence Boesch. On Oct. 24, 1942, Franklin married the love of his life, Dolores (nee Woltring), who passed away on Jan. 8, 2010. They were married for a blissful 67 years together. Major Franklin Boesch enlisted in the Army Air Corps at the age of 19. He was a B-24 Bombardier and Navigator during World War II in England. Frank flew a total of 35 missions with honor. When he returned to the U.S. they wouldnt release him, so he stayed in the Air Force Reserves. At the end of a long 26 years of service, Major Franklin Boesch retired with many medals, such as the Distinguished Flying Medal. Franklin loved nothing more than serving his country. Soon after leaving the military, Frank and good friend, Ralph Blaubach, opened the Grafton Service. Franklin was the beloved husband to the late Dolores. Frank was the caring dad to son, Thomas (Cheryl) Boesch of Saukville, and the late Michael Boesch and daughter-in-law Jane Boesch of Grafton. He was a devoted grandpa to seven grandchildren, Todd (Rachael) Boesch, Kevin (Becky) Boesch, Kristin (Anthony) Lampasona, Jason (Heather) Boesch, Toby (Renee) Boesch, Benjamin (Tia) Boesch, Anna Boesch, plus eight great-grandchildren. He is further survived by many more family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at the Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg on Sun. Nov. 7, 2010. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 1-3PM and the service, officiated by Rev. Roger Boesch, will begin at 3PM. Burial will be at Immanuel Cemetery on Mon. Nov. 8, 2010 at 10AM. All memorials in Franks name may be given to the Honor Flight for U.S. Veterans. Cemetery: Immanuel Cemetery N32 W5200 Hamilton Rd.
