Elsie A. Ernst

Elsie was Born to Eternal Life on Friday, May 3, 2013, age 90 years. Mrs. Ernst was born April 1, 1923, in Freistadt, daughter of the late Bernard and the late Rose (nee Lueder) Schoessow. She was united in marriage to Elmer J. Ernst on August 21, 1943, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Freistadt. Beloved wife of the late Elmer. Loving mother of Barbara (Larry) Fiedler, Sandra Ernst Anderson, Nancy (Al) Vitse, Greg (Susan), Kevin, Mark (Laurie) Ernst, and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ernst. Dear sister of Lillian Stern, Bernice Werner, Cecelia Schoessow, and Gerhardt (Dorothy) Schoessow. Further survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her son, Walter, grandson Robert Ernst, and three infant grandchildren. Funeral Service Thursday, May 9, 2013, 2PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Freistadt. Interment church cemetery. In state Thursday, at the church, 12 Noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church or Lasata Care Center appreciated.
