Edythe E. Schmit

Schmit, Edythe Ella Lily (nee Wendorf), aged 85, went home to our Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Milwaukee Catholic Home. She has joined Leo, her beloved husband of 50 years, her parents, Edward and Mamie Wendorf, and many other loved ones. She will continue to be treasured by James and Kathleen Green of Wauwatosa, Harv and Karen Schmit of Canton, Michigan, Christian and Barbara Steinmetz of Fox Point, and Martin and Migdalia Schmit of Tullahoma, Tennessee. She is also loved by grandchildren John and Carolyn McShane, Kip and Stephanie Steinmetz, Michael and Alexandra Schmit, Sean Schmit, Steven and Abi Schmit, Anna Steinmetz, Trevor Schmit and Brett Schmit, great-granddaughters Callie and Adelynn, nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by Ceil, Doris, Jane and Jean and the Walgreen’s and St Paul gangs with whom she served faithfully for many years. Service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at St Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St, Grafton, Wisconsin. Visitation from 10:30 am until time of service. Whenever we think of that which is true, noble, lovely, pure and admirable we will think of Edythe. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St Paul Lutheran Church or to Bethesda Lutheran Home.
