Douglas Jon Hammetter

Douglas J. Hammetter of Oconomowoc formerly of Cedarburg passed away in Milwaukee on Monday November 30, 2015 at the age of 60 years. Doug was born in Port Washington, WI on May 13, 1955 to Gerald and the late Lorraine (nee Helm) Hammetter. Doug was a graduate of Cedarburg High School Class of 1973 and owner, operator of Creative Store Design in Milwaukee. He is survived by his children; Ryan (Robin) Hammetter of Germantown & Regan Hammetter of Germantown, father Gerry of Cedarburg, brothers; Daniel (Betsy) Hammetter of Cedarburg, Richard (Beth) Hammetter of Slinger, sisters; Colleen (Eric) Bloch of Cedarburg & Jane (Dan) Swanson of Cape Coral, FL. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, fiancée Debra Elstad of Oconomowoc, along with many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held at the Mueller Funeral Home Cedarburg on Saturday December 5, at 12:30 PM. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until 12:15 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials in Doug’s name to the family appreciated.
