Douglas Kent Stucky of Cedarburg, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2019 at the age of 72. Douglas was born on September 26, 1946 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the son of the late Annabelle Ruth (nee Metz) and Spencer Earl Stucky. Doug grew up in Crete, Illinois. After graduating from Crete-Monee High School, Douglas attended the University of Arizona in Tucson earning his degree in Pharmacology in 1969. Doug was a lifelong Pharmacist working in various capacities of his profession. Doug met his wife Peggy soon after he graduated from college. They were married on January 31, 1971 at St. Stanislaus Church in Posen, Illinois. They moved to Oconto County, Wisconsin in 1976, built their home and started a family. Doug was an outdoorsman and avid Packer Fan, enjoying all sports, particularly football, baseball and golf. Doug was a patient and loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a silly sense of humor and always found a way to make people laugh. He liked to build and fix things and most recently had a great interest in audio books. He loved his pets, their comfort and companionship. Doug was a Freemason and belonged to many service organizations throughout his life. Doug is survived by his wife, Peggy; children: Landon Reid Stucky and Brigid Rae Stucky; proud grandfather of Emily DeCleene, Madelyn Stucky and Ella Stucky; brother of Scott (Shari) Stucky and Roger (Denise) Stucky; sister-in-law Maxine Stucky; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Doug was preceded in death by his brother Gary Stucky. Mass of Christian Burial will held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Francis Borgia South Catholic Church, W44 N6055 Hamilton Rd., Cedarburg with visitation at the church from 10:00am until the time of Mass. Visitation also will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Cedarburg Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, W63 N527 Hanover Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
