Donald G. Gerth

Donald G. Gerth of Cedarburg passed away peacefully on Monday January 16, 2017 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon at the age of 85 years. Donald was born in Reading, PA on January 21, 1931 to the late Harry & Elizabeth (nee Weaver) Gerth and married Lynn (nee Fries) on May 12, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI. Donald worked as an engineer at General Electric, Telectronics and Johnson Controls. He was a long time active member of First Immanuel Lutheran Church and the American Legion Peter Wollner Post in Cedarburg. He is survived by his wife Lynn of Cedarburg, children; Donald (Shelley) of Cedarburg, Debbie Gerth of Grafton and Douglas Gerth of Milwaukee, grandson; Donnie Jr. of Cedarburg, and his best buddy his dog Cody. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 20, 2017 12 Noon at First Immanuel Lutheran Church W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd. Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10 – 11:45 AM. Memorials of your choice appreciated.
