David J. Kraus

David was born on April 3, 1954, in Port Washington, the son of the late William Kraus and the late Betty (nee Utecht) Kraus. He later graduated from Grafton High School in 1972, and received his BA from Concordia College, in Milwaukee. David enjoyed spending countless hours outdoors fishing, kayaking, or writing poetry. He was a gentle soul, and will be missed by everyone who knew him. David is survived by his brother, Bill (Karen) Kraus; and nieces, Kimberly (Jeff) Cohen and Lisa (Greg) Million. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents. Private Services will be held for David. Memorials to Family Sharing, in Grafton, are appreciated. David J. Kraus, of Grafton, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the St. Joseph Hospital, in Milwaukee, at the age of 59 years.
