Brian W. Helm of Jackson, WI, passed away at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus on December 2, 2014 at the age of 60. Brian was born in Port Washington, WI on June 26, 1954 the son of William A. and Lois H. (Nee Volkmann) Helm. Brian was united in marriage on June 21, 1996 to Lauri (Nee Knetter). Brian was currently employed as a salesman at Bob Fish Buick & GMC Truck Inc. of West Bend and was a former employee of 5 Corners Pontiac and GMC Truck Dealership in Cedarburg. Brian won numerous Top Salesman Awards from GMC over his many years of selling trucks. Brian was a member of the NRA, former member of the Saukville Gun Club and Monticello Sno-Mobile Club and a new member of the John Deer Tractor Club. Brian supported the Honor Flight for Veteran’s and was able to go on an Honor Flight in October of 2014 as guardian for his father. Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, trap shooting, being an outdoorsman, babysitting his dogs and traveling to his cabin in Sayner, WI. What a joy it is for a person to have a great friend to remember in life. If you knew Brian, you can call yourself his friend. He was quite a salesman. For anyone that needed an honest opinion, he would gladly offer one. I never knew him to steer a person down the wrong road just to make a sale. Brian would go above and beyond to please a customer, even if that meant selling some brand he did not represent. I guess that would explain his customer base loyalty. When it came to being a people person, his kind charm made people gain trust in him, not only in business, but his social life as well. He often invited friends and customers to partake with him in his favorite thing to do, head up north to Vilas County and enjoy the outdoors with him. You became his guest to go fishing, hunting or just relaxing while staying at his cabin. No one could ask for a better guy than Brian Helm to enjoy laughs, a drink, a card game or an up north vacation with! Brian will not be forgotten. He will be missed deeply by all, but even more by me, his brother. So say it with me and everyone else: We Love Brian Helm. Rest in peace my friend. David Brian is survived by his wife Lauri (Nee Knetter); children: Charlie, Emily and Billy; Parents William and Lois (Nee Volkmann) Helm; siblings: David (Colleen) Helm and Nola (Ron) Sella; father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Nancy Knetter; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws: Patrick Knetter, Michael (Mary) Knetter, Jack (Donna) Knetter, Cheri (Greg) Richardson, Larry Knetter, Lynn (Friend Mike) Heritsch, Lisa (Jim) Poplin, Lu Ann (Curt) Paul, Lois (Greg) Ross, Frank Knetter, Mary (Terry) Suminski & Jill (Andy) Wellman; Godfather of Mitchell Sella; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
