Beatrice R. Robel

Beatrice R. Robel (Nee Erdmann) of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the age of 88. Beatrice was born in Port Washington on October 17, 1928 the daughter of the late Arthur and Elsie (Nee Barelmann) Erdmann. Beatrice was a graduate of Cedarburg High School; owned and operated Robel’s Beer Depot & Deli and the Cedarburg Liquor Store with her husband Jacob for many years. Later in life, Beatrice worked at Lasata Care Center in the Kitchen and also put in over 1300 volunteer hours at Lasata. Her favorite hobbies included ceramics and Teddy Bear Class at the Cedarburg Senior Center. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Beatrice is survived by her husband Jacob Robel; Son, Tom (Chris) Robel; sister-in-law, Audrey Erdmann. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Beatrice was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Erdmann Jr. and her sister, Carolyn (Ervin) Keller. Funeral services will be held at First Immanuel Lutheran Church on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 – 1:00 PM with Rev. Randolph Raasch officiating. Interment will be at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 11:30 AM – 12:45 PM. Memorials to First Immanuel Lutheran Church are appreciated.
