Arthur R. "Rolf" Andersen

Arthur “Rolf” Andersen passed in peace at the age of 80. Cherished husband of 60 years to Sue. Loving Father to Chris (Kathy) Andersen, the late Charlie Andersen and Bill (Kathy) Andersen. Proud grandfather to Stacie Andersen, Sarah (Taylor) Englund, Abigail, Charlie and Maddy Andersen and great-grandfather to Jeremiah Englund. Rolf is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Elizabeth and his son Charlie. Rolf was born on December 18, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the only child of Arthur and Elizabeth (nee Litscher) Andersen. He was united in marriage to Augusta “Sue” Neff on June 6, 1959 in Chatham, New Jersey. During their time together they were blessed with three children, five grandchildren, a great grandchild and numerous other friends and family. Rolf worked as a journeyman modelmaker, spending the majority of his career at Evinrude and Oster working in engineering developing prototypes. In his free time he could be found in his own workshop, building model airplanes and boats. He also enjoyed cultivating flowers and plants for his gardens. Rolf will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as he enters the gates of heaven to be with the family and friends that have preceded him in this life. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Cedarburg Mueller Funeral Home-W63 N527 Hanover Avenue at 1:00pm with Visitation at the funeral home from 11:00 to 12:45pm. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. - Romans 14:8
