Arlene Theresa Groth (nee Grasser) 83, of Cedarburg, WI passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton on October 24, 2019 from unexpected heart complications. Arlene was born on February 19, 1936 the daughter of the late Sylvester & Mary Grasser of Port Washington, WI. Arlene Enjoyed Winters in Florida, watching football and exercise class. Arlene took every opportunity to take walks and talk to people along the way. Arlene spent her early years raising 4 children and helped her late Husband Howard Groth run their Family Well Drilling Business. Arlene was an active member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Arlene is survived by her children: James (fiancée Monika Mitchell) Groth, Barbara (Frederick) Berres, Sue (Craig) Birnschein and Michael Groth; Grandchildren: Falon Groth, Jason (Ashley) Groth, Heather (Kurt) Hansen, Greg Berres, Jeff Berres, Steve Berres, Mathew Buelow, Kayla Birnschein, Morgan Birnschein; Great Grandson Lucas Groth; her siblings: Marion (Marvin) Huiras and Paul (Ann) Grasser; other relatives and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 – 12:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg. Fr. Tom Eichenberger officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Sat. Nov. 9 from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Arlene will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon, WI next to her dear beloved husband Howard who preceded her in death in 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association or Masses in memory of Arlene would be appreciated.
