Schroeder (nee Sauer) of Grafton went home to heaven from Milan Estates in Saukville on January 26, 2014 at the age of 76. Arleen was born on October 10, 1937 the daughter of the late Norbert Andrew & Hulda Louise Bertha (nee Dommer) Sauer. On August 6, 1960 Arleen was united in marriage at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Port Washington to the late Rodney Schroeder. Arleen worked as a crossing guard in Grafton for over 25 years. Arleen was a volunteer and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton, LWML and Lutheran’s For Life. Her favorite hobbies included biking, square dancing, traveling, cross stitching, puzzles and board games. Arleen is survived by her children: Timothy (Kerry) Schroeder, Kris Schroeder, Mark Schroeder, David Schroeder and Pamela (Dave) Koenes; her grandchildren: Mikhail Schroeder, Olga Schroeder and Joshua Koenes; Brother Don Sauer, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services for Arleen will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton on Friday, January 31, 2014 – 6:00 PM. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church, LWML, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or Lutheran’s For Life appreciated.
