Alice I. Wendt

Alice Wendt, 95, of Medford, WI formerly of Mequon, WI passed away on September 20, 2017, at Care Partners Assisted Living, in Medford, WI where she resided under the care of Asera Care. Alice was born on April 24, 1922, in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of the late Louis and Hattie (nee Luedtke) Schimmelpfennig. Alice was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Harry and Louis Jr., and husband, Alfred “Ollie” Wendt. Alice is survived by her three sons, Thomas (Nancy), Gerald (Patricia), and Richard (Cindy) Wendt, all of Rib Lake, WI. She is further survived by her five grandchildren, Lisa (Mark) Gall, Stephanie (Randy) Smith, Lara (Daryl) Kistenmacher, Jair Wendt; 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. During her life, Alice was an avid genealogist and was involved in volunteer work at Concordia University, in Mequon, WI. Funeral Service Wednesday, September 27, 2017, 1PM at the Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, in Cedarburg, WI. Interment will take place at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Freistadt, WI. She will be laid out on Wednesday, from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Alice’s name to the American Legion Post #274, in Rib Lake, WI.
