Agnes A. Normann Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday October 11, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1619 Washington St., Grafton) at 10:30am for Agnes A. Normann (nee Becker), a resident of Washington Heights and Serenity Homes of Grafton who passed away on Monday October 3, 2011 at the age of 89 years. Visitation at church on Tuesday from 9:00am until the time of Mass. Interment church cemetery. A special thank-you to Serenity Homes of Grafton and Hospice Advantage Care. Agnes was born on April 21, 1922 to John and Elizabeth Thielen Becker. Elizabeth passed away when Agnes was 2 years old. John and Margaret Blang-Becker raised her. Agnes married Clarence F. Normann on June 6, 1942 at St. Joseph’s Church in Grafton where she was a devoted catholic. She loved to crochet and make quilts for her children and grandchildren. She loved her flowers and gardening. Agnes also had a passion for cooking and canning. “You can now dance with Daddy once again.” Agnes is survived by her children; Charles (Patricia) Normann, John (Jane) Normann, Mary (Richard) Albinger, Allan (Joanne) Normann, Beverley (Larry) Miller, Joseph (Julie) Normann and Karen (Ricky) Holler, grandchildren;Wendy Cantrall, Jennifer (Robert Schmidt), Julie (Kevin Gruber) Normann, Jonathan Salsbury, Sandy Albinger, Robert (Heather) Albinger, Timothy Albinger, Tanya (Jake) Krajenka, Tiffany, Melonie and Daniel Miller, Sarah (Tryon) Murray, Steven (Stacy) and Stacy Normann, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, other relatives and friends. Agnes is preceded in death by her husband Clarence, sister Cecillia Becker-Krueger and 3 granddaughters.
